Hiking and biking - in
Norwegian footsteps
An active round-trip filled with Norwegian history, nature and culture. In Matre we visit the Bjørn West Museum before we follow in the footsteps of this war-resistance group. The breathtaking steps “Stegane” take us from the deep valley to the wide mountains. Dinner is served at Stordalen Fjellstove, before we return on bike down the valley to Matre. From Matre you can take the bus to Bergen again.

The round trip start at the Bjørn West Museem 09.30 take totaly about 10 hours. You have to be able to bike, and the mountain hiking takes more than 3 hours. You need good shoes and rain/wind cloths and a backpack. Equipment can be hired.
Tastes should not be forgotten -outdoor lunch is served and dinner is served at Stordalen Fjellstove (Mountain lodge). An active, educational and unforgettable day.
Time and Place: Start at Matre v / Bjorn West Museum at 09:30. The trip takes about 10 hours. Express bus from Bergen 0800 am from terminal M. Return in the evening by bus. From 6. July 2015.
The tour runs every day. Registration closer than 3 days, minimum 3 people. Maximum 10 participants per. tour. Separate arrangements for larger groups. Please contact us if you have questions. Guiding in English and Norwegian.
Price. Includes museum, guide, bike, boat, lunch and dinner.
Not included: Transportation to / from Matre. Bergen coach NOK 165, - every way.
Age and assumptions: Age 12 years. Physical form of easy cycling, and walking for over 4 hours in the mountains. We will ascend 700 meters during the walk. Age can be deviated by appointment. Dress according to the weather. You need good shoes, and rain / windproof clothing and rucksacks. Lack of clothing / equipment can be rented. Safety / disclaimer: The tour includes cycling, sailing and hiking for a several hours. There are therefore depends on the weather and the right to change, and that we have the right to reject people based on our assessment of form and features.
